General information

In the green zone of Kaunas, parking must be activated immediately after parking the car in the zone. The paid tariff begins to be calculated upon activating the parking. When leaving the zone, do not forget to stop parking and pay for the service.

If you set up automatic stopping in the app, parking will be automatically stopped at the time you choose.

You can pay for parking in this city zone using the UNIPARK app, at the on-site parking meter, by SMS, or through the actual parking contract with UNIPARK.

  • UNIPARK mobile app

    After parking in a city zone, you must immediately activate parking in the UNIPARK app. When leaving, make sure to stop the parking session.

    To pay for parking in city zones even more conveniently, allow the UNIPARK app to access your device’s location — this will help you select the zone you are currently in.

    To avoid forgetting to stop your parking session, you can set automatic parking stop in the UNIPARK app.

  • Parking meter

    You can pay at the parking meter using 10 ct, 20 ct, 50 ct, 1 EUR, and 2 EUR coins.
    How to pay with coins:

    1. Activate the parking meter screen.

    2. Enter your vehicle’s license plate number.

    3. Make the payment for the intended parking duration.

    If you need a ticket, you can print it by following the on-screen instructions.
    The parking meter does not give change.

  • Sms message

    Send the message to the number 1332 (Telia, Tele2, Bite)

    Instead of UNP000, enter your vehicle registration number.

    • To order the service, write:

    U Start KZ UNP000

    • Pay for parking:

    U Stop UNP000

    After ordering/stopping the service, you must receive a confirmation message.

    Additional uSMS service fee – €0.15.

    Mobile network operators apply a service activation/deactivation fee, which you will find out from your mobile service provider.

  • Parking contract (UNIPARK Smart)

    If you have an actual parking contract UNIPARK Smart, download the mobile app and choose the payment method “UNIPARK Smart”.
    The instructions show how to pay for services using the app if you have an actual UNIPARK Smart contract.
