Old Town pollution tax
A low emission zone (STZ) has been introduced in Kaunas Old Town, where a pollution fee of 2.00 Eur applies. On this page, you will find a short guide on how to conveniently check the payable amount and pay this fee through the UNIPARK app.
1. Check the payable amount
- After opening the UNIPARK app, click on the wallet icon to check the payable amount and pay the Kaunas Old Town pollution fee.
- To check the payable amount, click on ‘Old Town Pollution Fee.’
2. Pay the pollution fee
Unappointed payable amount:
- If there is no payable amount appointed for the Old Town pollution fee for the vehicle number selected in the UNIPARK app, you will see the message: There is no amount due for the Old Town pollution tax for the selected license plate.
- When parking in the Kaunas Old Town zone, no additional payment for the pollution fee is required, as it is included in the parking price.
Appointed payable amount:
- If a payable amount is appointed to your selected vehicle number, it will be indicated in the UNIPARK app.
- To pay the pollution fee, click the PAY button.
- Payment can be made within 30 calendar days of entering the Kaunas Old Town low emission zone (STZ).
